JBL Professional JBL 705P Bi-amplified master reference monitor

The 705P is a self-powered reference monitor for tracking, film post and broadcast. It uses the same driver technology and Image Control Waveguide as the 708P and the flagship M2, in a much smaller box: a 725G 5-inch woofer and a 2409H compression driver crossed at 1.9 kHz, on 250 W of Class D power.

Response is 45 Hz to 25 kHz within 3 dB with a range out to 36 kHz, and continuous output exceeds 101 dB at one metre - well above what a 5-inch monitor normally manages. There is a balanced analogue XLR input and an AES3 digital XLR input with a pass-through output. The birch plywood cabinet is reinforced with top, bottom and rear mounting points.
