JBL CBT 1000E Extension Cabinet for the CBT 1000 Line Array Column

The CBT 1000E is the purpose-designed extension cabinet for JBL's CBT 1000 line array column, from the Constant Beamwidth Technology range. It couples under a CBT 1000 to lengthen the array; the CBT 1000 itself is ordered separately. JBL publishes performance for the assembled pair, so the frequency range, coverage, sensitivity, impedance, power and SPL figures below describe a CBT 1000 and CBT 1000E working together. Transducers are Twenty-four (24) 25 mm (1 in) extra-high-power soft dome tweeters and Twelve (12) 165 mm (6.5 in) high-excursion LF drivers (CBT1000+1000E). Nominal coverage is Vertical: Separate four top and four bottom selections, Horizontal: tapered 100 degrees to 160 degrees. Frequency range is 38 Hz - 20 kHz. JBL rates it at 1500W (6000W peak), 2 hrs 900W (3600W peak), 100 hrs. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms.

The enclosure is Fiberglass reinforced ABS cabinet, powder coated 1050 aluminum grille. It measures 2040 mm x 250 mm x 345 mm (80.4 x 9.9 x 13.6 in). Net weight is (cabinet): 47.2 kg (104 lbs). In the box: Two-piece swivel (pan)/tilt wall bracket Coupler Plate.
