JBL CBT 70JE-1 Extension Cabinet for the CBT 70J-1 Line Array Column

The CBT 70JE-1 is the purpose-designed extension cabinet for JBL's CBT 70J-1 line array column, from the Constant Beamwidth Technology range, specified with a stronger grille. It couples under a CBT 70J-1 to lengthen the array; the CBT 70J-1 itself is ordered separately. JBL publishes performance for the assembled pair, so the frequency range, coverage, sensitivity, impedance, power and SPL figures below describe a CBT 70J-1 and 70JE-1 working together. Transducers are Eight (8) 130 mm (5 in) LF drivers Sixteen (16) 25 mm (1 in) HF drivers. Nominal coverage is Vertical: Switchable, Narrow Mode: 25 degrees (+/-10 degrees ), Broad Mode: 45 degrees (+/-10 degrees ), Horizontal: 150 degrees (+/-20 degrees ). Frequency range is 45 Hz - 20 kHz. JBL rates it at 1000 W (4000 W peak), 2 hrs 700 W (2800 W peak), 100 hrs. Maximum SPL at 1 m is Narrow: (speech mode) 125 dB cont ave (131 peak) (music mode) 121 dB cont ave (127 peak) Broad: (speech mode) 124 dB cont ave (130 peak) (music mode) 120 dB cont ave (126 peak).

The enclosure is Fiberglass-reinforced ABS cabinet, painted aluminum grille. It measures 1388 x 170 x 237 mm(54.8 x 6.7 x 9.3 in). Net weight is 20.4 kg (45 lb).
