Crestron HZ2-SWEX Horizon 2 infiNET EX In-Wall Switch

The HZ2-SWEX is the Horizon 2 in-wall switch, controlling incandescent, magnetic low voltage and tungsten-halogen loads plus electronic ballasts and 1/2 HP motors over the infiNET EX wireless mesh. It ships with a large rocker button assembly and default engraving, or with custom laser-etched engraving on any of the six Horizon 2 button styles. Five RGB LED backlights sit behind the buttons, each position assignable an alternate colour theme, and an ambient light sensor switches between day and night backlight modes automatically. Local button control drives the attached load with no programming written.

Wiring is four screw-clamp terminals for line, load, neutral and remote, each taking 14-12 AWG, plus a green flying-lead ground. A neutral connection is required. Up to four HZ2-AUX or HZ2-KPEX devices tie into the remote terminal for three-way and four-way circuits. Finishes cover textured white, black and almond, white and black glass, and brushed black, brushed brass, dark bronze and dark nickel metal. Faceplates are ordered separately from the HZ2-FP-G series, and a metal backplate is required wherever the electrical box sits flush with or behind the wall surface.
