Crestron CRESNET-HP-NP High-Power Cresnet Control Cable, 1000 ft
Cresnet devices draw their 24VDC from the same cable that carries their data, and on a long run with several thirsty devices the limit is voltage drop, not bandwidth. The high-power cable answers that by stepping the power pair from 18 AWG up to 12 AWG stranded bare copper, roughly four times the copper, while leaving the data side alone: the same twisted blue/white 22 AWG pair, the same 100% aluminum/polyester shield, the same 24 AWG tinned copper drain.
The extra copper makes for a heavier cable, 0.33 in. nominal outer diameter under a 0.04 in. PVC jacket, so plan pathway and bend radius accordingly. Data insulation is high density polyethylene. It is non-plenum rated, runs -4 to 167 deg F, and ships on a 1000 ft (304 m) spool in white or teal; the teal jacket is the usual way to keep a high-power run visually distinct from standard Cresnet in a crowded tray.
