Crestron CRESNET-P-WH-SP1000 Plenum Cresnet Control Cable, White, 1000 ft

This is the version of Cresnet cable that is allowed to cross an air handling space. The electrical design matches the standard cable, a twisted blue/white 22 AWG data pair under a 100% aluminum/polyester shield with a 24 AWG tinned copper drain, plus a red/black 18 AWG pair carrying 24VDC and ground, so bus behavior and power budget are unchanged. What changes is the plastics: FEP insulation on the data pair and a plenum polymer jacket and power insulation.

The result is also a noticeably smaller cable. At 0.19 in. nominal outer diameter against 0.25 in. for the non-plenum construction, more of it fits through the same core drill or conduit, which matters on a retrofit where the pathway is already crowded. It is rated -4 to 167 deg F and ships as a 1000 ft (304 m) spool. Where a run stays inside conditioned, non-plenum space, the standard CRESNET-NP-WH cable is the cheaper choice.
