Clear-Com PIC-4744 IFB Router
The PIC-4744 is Clear-Com's program-interrupt and IFB router for Encore analog party-line systems. It takes four program sources on XLR3F line-level inputs and feeds four talent positions on XLR3M party-line-level outputs. Each talent channel can select any one of the four program sources and place it on its output, and a front-panel trim pot sets that source level independently for every position.
Each talent channel actually carries three signals - the program audio, the cue audio, and the dip or mute control - so a director can duck program and interrupt talent on cue. A Wet/Dry switch opens the outputs to third-party wireless IFB, console feeds or recorders. The unit is a 19-inch, 1RU chassis running on 20-30 VDC.
