Clear-Com PS-702 2 Channel Rack Mount Power Supply
The PS-702 is the two-channel heart of an Encore wired partyline: 30 volts DC, up to two amps, in a single rack unit. Either channel will deliver 1.2 amps continuously and the full capacity can be split between them, which is enough for up to 40 beltpacks, ten speaker stations, or 12 headset stations under real load. An A+B link switch on the front collapses it into a single-channel supply when a job only needs one, and a front-panel intercom jack, switchable to either channel, gives you a place to plug a headset and check the line without walking to the back of the rack.
What sets it apart is how it handles trouble. Each channel has a DC overload/fault LED that tells you what actually happened: solid means an overload was sensed but power is still flowing, blinking means power was cut to protect the supply. Intelligent Fault/Overload Sensing restores a shorted channel in as little as half a second and then stretches that interval on repeat faults until the problem is fixed - no unplugging stations to force a reset, and a healthy channel keeps running while its neighbor is down. A 440 Hz test tone is on tap for setup, a balanced program input feeds audio to the line, and two or more supplies can be paralleled for capacity or redundancy. The universal supply accepts 100-240V AC.
