Clear-Com PS-704 4-Channel Rack Mount Power Supply

The PS-704 spreads two amps at 30 volts across four channels of Encore analog partyline in one rack space, powering up to 40 beltpacks, ten speaker stations, or 12 headset stations. Each channel gets its own power protection, its own switchable line termination, and two parallel XLR connectors, and stations connect over ordinary 2-conductor shielded mic cable. Short a channel or overload it and the electronic protection circuit drops the DC on that channel alone; the other three keep working, and auto-reset restores power the moment the fault clears, even under full load, without unplugging a single remote station.

A line-level program input with a global trim feeds audio to the partyline, and each channel has its own front-panel program on/off switch and level control, so you decide which channels hear program and how loud. Per-channel short LEDs report DC status at a glance. The universal supply takes 100-240V AC, two or more units can be paralleled with other supplies or main stations for more capacity or backup, and the unitized heavy-gauge aluminum chassis with an extra-thick front panel is built to survive touring.
