Clear-Com KB-701Single-Channel Remote Speaker Station
The KB-701 is a single-channel remote speaker station that puts a hands-free intercom position anywhere on the partyline without a headset. A built-in speaker and a flush-mount electret microphone let a user monitor the channel across the room and push-to-talk when they need to answer, operating half-duplex like a walkie-talkie. A mic limiter holds the level in check so a loud talker never overdrives the channel, and a volume control sets listening level to taste.
Four internally programmable modes let an installer tailor how the station behaves on the line, and an optional 4-wire daughter board converts it to accept 4-wire connections for fiber and other long-distance links. It draws power from the intercom line, so it drops into an existing Encore partyline at a shop bench, a loading dock, or a control booth.
