Clear-Com KB-702GM2-Channel Speaker Station w/Gooseneck Mic Connector

The KB-702GM is an Encore remote speaker station for wired analog partyline: pick one of two channels, then talk and listen on it through the built-in speaker, a headset, or a telephone-style handset. What separates the GM from the plain KB-702 is the panel microphone jack and the VOX circuit behind it. Plug in an optional GM-9 or GM-18 gooseneck mic, and the adjustable close-in VOX hears the operator's voice, ducks the speaker, and lifts the mic gain, reversing the moment they stop talking. The result is hands-free, full-duplex conversation at a fixed position without a headset and without the station howling at itself.

Microprocessor logic runs the talk button, which can be momentary or latching and reports state with a blue LED on and amber off. Call signaling is both visual and audible with a defeatable tone and its own level control, and a balanced program input with a separate level knob lets the operator monitor a program feed or take a stage-announce paging interrupt even with the intercom volume down. Dip switches on the board set mic-latch disable, long-line operation, channel selection, and call-signal tracking. The station is powered from the intercom line at 20-30V DC, drops into a standard U.S. 4-gang box or the optional V-Box for desktop use, and accepts optional TW or 4-wire daughter boards.
