Blackmagic Design Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 Router

The Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 is a compact 6G-SDI router with a re-synchronizer built into every one of its 12 inputs. That means it can switch cleanly between any two sources of the same standard without the glitch you normally get from routing crosspoints, and it can also stand in as 12 independent frame synchronizers for automatic re-timing of loose SDI feeds. Each of the 12 outputs runs through a 6G-SDI re-clocker that changes rate to match whatever source is routed to it.

Every port handles SD, HD and Ultra HD up to 2160p30 with 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 processing. A built-in LCD, push buttons and a spin knob let you set routes from the front of the unit, while an Ethernet port and an RS-422 serial port allow external control. It supports tri-sync and black burst reference, fits a single rack unit and runs on 90 to 240V AC.
