Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E Advanced Panel 20

The Blackmagic ATEM 2 M/E Advanced Panel 20 is a hardware control surface that gives a technical director direct, tactile command of an ATEM switcher. It has two M/E rows, each with 20 input buttons and its own independent select bus, and each row can control up to four M/Es on larger switchers. Every row and every input button carries an LCD for custom labeling, so sources read by name rather than by number under production pressure.

Hands-on control comes from two fader bars for manual transitions, a three-axis joystick for DVE positioning and a numeric keypad, with tri-color LED crosspoint buttons and on-air indicators across the surface. Connectivity includes four Gigabit Ethernet ports with loop-through and a USB-C port for firmware updates, and the panel runs on two built-in redundant AC power supplies. Blackmagic renamed this product from BMD-SWPANELADV2ME to BMD-SWPANELADV2ME20.
