Not every extension job needs 300 metres. This pair moves a keyboard, monitor and mouse up to 75 feet (22.8 m) from a computer or a KVM switch over inexpensive Category 5 UTP, at 1280 x 1024, which covers the common case of getting the machine out of the room without paying for long-haul hardware.

A hotkey adjusts video compensation to suit the actual cable length, an LED confirms operation and a beep confirms key control. It handles the usual mice - IntelliMouse, Explorer, optical - and works with XGA, VGA and SVGA systems. The kit includes both units, the power adapter and a 2-to-1 KVM cable.
