The dual-head SRX carries two DVI-D displays, transparent USB 2.0 and audio to a remote console, uncompressed, at 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz or 3840 x 2400 at 17 Hz. Nothing is scaled or re-encoded on the way, so a two-screen workstation looks the same at the far end as it does on the desk beside the machine.

Direct cable runs reach 196 feet (59.7 m) on CAT6a, 180 feet (54.8 m) on CAT6 and 147 feet (44.8 m) on CAT5e; through patch panels the figures are 164, 147 and 114 feet. Bidirectional USB covers keyboards, mice and touchscreens, and extended-profile DDC EDID is relayed from the displays to the source. Up to 16 local or remote units mount in the optional rack chassis.
