Avantone Pro ADM Cardioid Dynamic Snare Microphone

ADM is the snare microphone in Avantone's dynamic line, the one paired with a MONDO and a set of ATOMs in every CDMK kit. Its response runs 50 Hz to 16 kHz, deliberately tighter at the top than a condenser, which keeps hi-hat bleed manageable while leaving the crack of the stick intact.

Maximum SPL is 145 dB, so a microphone an inch above the head takes the hit without complaint, and the 520 ohm passive output on a 3-pin male XLR needs no phantom power. The package includes the SSM metal shockmount and the PK-1 Pro Klamp that grips the drum rim, so nothing else is needed to get it into position. Weight is 11 oz in a cabernet, black, and nickel finish.
