Audio-Technica ATUC-50CU Control Unit
The ATUC-50CU is the 19" rack-mountable control unit that powers and manages every discussion unit on an ATUC-50 system. It runs 24-bit/48kHz digital signal processing with a 12-band feedback suppressor, automatic gain control, and per-unit mic gain and EQ, so a room full of delegate microphones stays intelligible without a technician riding faders through the whole meeting.
A single ATUC-50CU controls up to 100 discussion or interpretation units, and up to three control units can be cascade-connected over Cat5e or better cable, extending a system to 300 units with the help of link extenders. Three conference modes - Free Talk, Request to Talk, and Full Remote - cover everything from an open discussion to a strictly moderated hearing, and a built-in recorder archives the session in 2 GB WAV or MP3 chunks to a USB drive. A large OLED display and jog dial handle local setup, while the Web Remote interface and third-party IP control both work without any dedicated software.
