AKG CHM99 Condenser Hanging Microphone
The CHM99 is a small cardioid condenser built to hang from a ceiling or truss over a choir, ensemble, or courtroom gallery, where a stand or gooseneck is not an option. It ships on 10 meters of cable with an integrated spring clamp, so the capsule can be aimed and re-aimed at the coverage area without extra hardware, and a foam windshield is included to tame HVAC and handling noise at that height.
Both finishes are the same microphone electrically; the color lets an installer match the mount to a dark truss or a white ceiling grid. It terminates in a standard 3-pin XLR, so it runs on any console or wall plate with 48V phantom power available.
