AKG C12 VR Reference Tube Condenser Microphone
The C12 VR is AKG's reference multi-pattern tube condenser, the modern successor to the C12 that sound engineers still regard as a holy grail. Nine polar patterns are selected from a dedicated remote control at the power supply, so the microphone stays undisturbed on the stand while you dial in pickup and room sound from the control position.
Its capsule character and hand-built 6072A vacuum tube are crafted in Vienna, Austria, giving vocals and solo instruments the warmth, air, and dimension the original C12 was famous for. The system ships complete with the H15 T shockmount, MK tube cable, N12 VR power supply, and a W42 windscreen.
