AKG C414 XLS Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone
The C414 XLS is the linear, neutral member of the C414 family, keeping the transparent character of the classic C414 B-ULS. Where the XLII adds a presence lift, the XLS is voiced for highest linearity and even response, making it the choice when you want the source captured exactly as it is - orchestral sections, acoustic guitar, drum overheads, and detailed room work.
It offers nine selectable polar patterns, three attenuation levels, and three bass-cut filters, with a peak-hold LED for overload and lockable controls for live and installed use. The single ships with the H85 shock mount, PF80 pop filter, W414 windscreen, and case; the stereo set adds a second factory-matched microphone with a stereo bar for accurate stereo recording.
