AKG C151 Small-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone
The C151 is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser built for instruments and ambient soundscapes rather than close vocal work, using a 16mm electret capsule tuned for accurate transient response on acoustic sources. Its compact pencil body makes it easy to place on overheads, acoustic guitar, or as a room mic without crowding the source.
A transformerless FET circuit keeps the noise floor low, and the body is machined from recycled metals and alloys. It runs on 48V phantom power over a standard 3-pin XLR output and ships with AKG's H82 microphone clip.
