Shure SM63, SM63L, SM63LB Handheld Microphones
The SM63 is a high-output omnidirectional dynamic microphone built for professional interview and ENG work where sound and appearance both matter. Its omnidirectional pattern picks up evenly on and off axis, so a reporter does not have to aim it precisely, and a smooth wide response tailored for speech intelligibility keeps voices clear. A controlled low-frequency rolloff reduces stand and wind rumble, while a built-in humbucking coil makes it virtually immune to the hum from studio lighting.
A patented Shure shock-mount system minimizes handling noise for hand-held use, and an integral pop filter tames breath and wind. The SM63 comes in three variants that differ only in length and finish: the standard SM63 with a 14.5 cm handle, and the SM63L and SM63LB with a 23 cm extended handle for remote interviews. It ships with an A57F swivel adapter and a 26A13 carrying and storage bag.
