Shure ULXD2-K8
The ULXD2/K8 is a handheld transmitter for Shure's ULX-D digital wireless systems, crowned with the KSM8 Dualdyne cardioid dynamic capsule. The KSM8's dual-diaphragm design tames proximity effect and off-axis coloration, so a singer can work the mic close or back off without the tone shifting, delivering the clearest, most natural vocal capture Shure builds into a dynamic. It carries clear, reliable 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio across its full 100 m (330 ft) range.
The transmitter is machined from rugged yet lightweight aluminum with an integrated antenna, and AES-256 encryption keeps the signal secure. A backlit LCD and simple menu handle setup, with frequency and power lockout to prevent tampering mid-show. The interchangeable capsule mount lets you swap the KSM8 for other Shure heads as the application changes. It runs on 2 AA batteries, or fit the optional Shure SB900B Li-ion rechargeable for over 12 hours of runtime with precise metering and no memory effect. Requires a ULXD4-series receiver.
