Shure RPW114

The Shure RPW114 is a factory replacement cartridge for wireless SM86 handheld microphones. It carries the SM86 cardioid condenser element and bundles it with the housing assembly and matte grille as a single drop-in unit, so a damaged or worn wireless SM86 mic can be restored to its original sound rather than retired. The cardioid pattern and condenser detail of the SM86 are preserved exactly as designed.

Because Shure wireless handheld cartridges are electrically and mechanically interchangeable, the RPW114 threads onto compatible Shure handheld transmitters that accept the SM86 capsule, letting a tech re-cap a transmitter or change its voicing to the SM86 in the field. It is a service part, supplied as the cartridge, housing, and grille assembly.
