Sennheiser MZX 8000 XLR Module

The MZX 8000 is the XLR output module for the MKH 8000 series modular microphone system. It attaches to the back of the microphone head and converts the modular connector to a standard 3-pin XLR output, so the mic can plug into any conventional mic cable, preamp, or wireless transmitter.

It ships in the box with most MKH 8000 series microphone heads and is listed here as a standalone spare or replacement module.
