Sennheiser HD 25 Professional DJ & Monitoring Headphones
The HD 25 has been the standard-issue closed-back headphone for club DJs, broadcast engineers, and on-location sound crews for decades, prized for cutting through loud environments while staying light enough to wear for a full shift. Its closed-back on-ear design delivers real passive isolation on a loud stage or in a broadcast truck, and a 16 Hz to 22,000 Hz frequency response gives it the low-end punch and top-end clarity needed to judge a mix or cue a track accurately over ambient noise.
Sennheiser builds the HD 25 around a split, self-adjusting headband and a swiveling single-sided cable exit that lets a DJ cue one ear while monitoring the room with the other - a detail that has made it a broadcast and DJ-booth fixture worldwide. The rugged, lightweight construction and fully replaceable parts (headband, ear pads, cable) mean a working HD 25 can be kept in service indefinitely rather than replaced. It handles up to 120 dB SPL without breaking up, and ships with a 1.5 m cable terminated in a 3.5mm connector. The line also includes the HD 25 Light, a lighter single-sided variant, and the HD 25 Plus, which adds a velour ear pad and coiled cable for studio use.
