Sennheiser HMD 26 Broadcast Headset
The HMD 26 is a closed, on-ear broadcast headset built for outdoor TV and radio work where the operator needs both clear talkback and protection from sudden loud sound. A supercardioid dynamic microphone rejects off-axis noise so commentary stays intelligible over crowd or field noise, and ActiveGard active limiting technology offers three switchable attenuation settings to cap output before it can damage hearing.
The single ear cup flips away for one-ear listening when a commentator needs to hear the room directly, and the closed design keeps the working ear isolated from ambient noise. At 200 g it stays comfortable through a full broadcast, and the wired connection works with standard Sennheiser broadcast beltpacks and interfaces.
