Sennheiser HD 300 PROtect Closed-Back Headphones with Hearing Protection

The HD 300 PROtect is a closed-back monitoring headphone built for broadcast, live production, and any high-SPL environment where an engineer needs full detail without risking their hearing over a long shift. Sennheiser's ActiveGard limiter caps output automatically, so sudden peaks from a live feed or a monitor mix cannot spike past a safe level even when the source material does.

The closed-back, over-ear design isolates the wearer from the room while a dynamic driver delivers a detailed, broadcast-accurate response for cueing and monitoring. A durable, serviceable build keeps it working through daily use in a truck or control room, and the 1.5 m cable terminates in a 3.5mm plug with a 6.3mm adapter included for console use. With ActiveGard engaged, maximum output is held to 110 dB SPL; switched off, the headphone can still reach 123 dB SPL for reference monitoring.
