It shares its headphone platform with the HME 27, but carries a dynamic microphone instead of a condenser capsule for engineers who prefer a dynamic capsule's ruggedness and lower sensitivity to handling noise.

ActiveGard limiting technology protects hearing from sudden peaks in the program feed, and a lightweight, modular build with a split headband keeps the headset comfortable through long broadcasts.
