Sennheiser HMD 27 Broadcast Headset
The HMD 27 is a closed-back, circumaural broadcast headset for commentators and engineers who need extended wear comfort and reliable audio in the field. It shares its headphone platform with the HME 27, but carries a dynamic microphone instead of a condenser capsule for engineers who prefer a dynamic capsule's ruggedness and lower sensitivity to handling noise.
ActiveGard limiting technology protects hearing from sudden peaks in the program feed, and a lightweight, modular build with a split headband keeps the headset comfortable through long broadcasts. The closed ear cups isolate the wearer for an accurate monitoring reference, and the wired connection works with standard Sennheiser broadcast interfaces.
