Sennheiser EKP AVX Plug-On Camera Receiver
The EKP AVX removes the receiver from the top of the camera entirely. It plugs into the XLR input, rotates around the connector so it clears a matte box or a monitor arm, and powers up and down with the camera's phantom supply, which means one less thing to remember and one less battery to go flat mid-take.
The link is 1.9 GHz digital at 24 bit and 48 kHz, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, better than 90 dB(A) signal-to-noise, more than 120 dB(A) dynamic range and 19 ms latency. Pairing and level matching are automatic. Receiver runtime is more than four hours on the internal Li-Ion pack when the camera is not supplying phantom, and a minijack adapter for DSLR bodies is included.
