Sennheiser EW-D EM Digital Rack Receiver
The EW-D EM is one channel of Evolution Wireless Digital in a 212 x 44 x 189 mm half-rack box, sized so two sit side by side in a single rack unit. It receives from the EW-D SK bodypack or the EW-D SKM-S handheld, and the frequency-setup work that used to mean walking a scanner around the room now happens in the Smart Assist app over Bluetooth.
Audio output runs to 18 dBu maximum, which is enough to hit a console line input without an intermediate stage. It draws no more than 300 mA at 11 to 13 V DC, so a rack of eight runs off modest supply headroom, and the receiver weighs about 1 kg without antennas or power supply. For more than four channels, feed the rack through an EW-D ASA antenna splitter rather than giving each receiver its own pair.
