Sennheiser EW-D SK Digital Bodypack Transmitter
The argument for Evolution Wireless Digital is that the input stage has 134 dB of dynamic range, which is more than any source will present. That removes the step where somebody sets bodypack gain by ear during a soundcheck and gets it wrong for the show. Plug the microphone in and the pack handles it.
Setup happens over Bluetooth Low Energy from the Smart Assist app, so a stage tech pairs and scans from a phone instead of squinting at a pack strapped to a performer's back. It transmits at 10 mW ERP, runs on two AA cells or a BA 70 rechargeable pack, and measures 63 x 80 x 20 mm at about 120 g without batteries. Order the band that matches the receiver already in the rack.
