Sennheiser e835-S
The e835-S is the switched version of Sennheiser's e835 stage vocal microphone, a dynamic cardioid handheld tuned to push a voice forward in a live mix. The cardioid pattern favors the singer and rejects monitor and PA bleed to hold off feedback, while a gentle presence lift keeps lyrics intelligible over a band without sounding harsh.
The added silent on/off switch lets a performer or presenter mute at the mic without a thump through the system. A shock-mounted capsule and hum-compensating coil keep handling noise and electrical buzz low. It runs without phantom power and feeds a 3-pin XLR; frequency response is 40 to 16,000 Hz.
