Sennheiser SKM 6000 Digital 6000 Handheld Transmitter
The SKM 6000 is Sennheiser's Digital 6000 handheld transmitter body, built for live performance where dozens of RF channels have to share the same spectrum without stepping on each other. Its Link Density Mode packs up to 5 links per 1 MHz of bandwidth, giving a large touring or broadcast production far more usable channels than an analog system would allow in the same space.
The capsule interface accepts microphone heads from Sennheiser's evolution wireless G3, Digital 2000, and Digital 9000 lines as well as Neumann's KK 204 and KK 205, so a production can standardize on one transmitter body and choose the capsule voicing a performer wants. A magnesium housing balances durability with a manageable handheld weight, gain is adjustable in 3 dB steps up to +62 dB per capsule, and a BA 60 lithium-ion pack runs up to 5.5 hours per charge. It pairs with the EK 6042 or EM 9046 receiver in Long Range mode.
