PreSonus NSB Networked Stage Box
The NSB boxes move analog I/O onto the AVB network so a StudioLive Series III console can stay at front of house while the preamps live at the stage. Inputs are locking combo mic/line jacks feeding remote-controlled XMAX preamps, with gain compensation so a shared input can be split between the house and monitor mixes without one engineer's gain change wrecking the other's.
The NSB 8.8 carries eight inputs and eight outputs; the NSB 16.8 carries sixteen inputs, including sixteen direct inputs over AVB, and eight outputs. All outputs use locking XLR jacks. A two-port AVB switch is built in so units daisy-chain rather than needing a switch at the stage. The chassis is steel with handles in a stage box form factor, and an optional rack-ear kit converts it for a rack.
