Symetrix 4 Channel Analog Input Card
The 4 Channel Analog Input Card adds four switchable balanced mic or line inputs to a Radius NX or Edge DSP. Each input carries +48 VDC phantom power at up to 10 mA, so condenser mics connect directly, and gain is set in five switchable steps from 0 to 54 dB with a further 24 dB of digital trim either way, which is enough range to match a lavalier and a playback feed on the same card.
Conversion is the extended dynamic range type, better than 115 dB A-weighted, with 0.28 mS of input latency and better than 76 dB of common-mode rejection at unity gain. Connections are 3.81 mm terminal blocks on 12-position plugs with strain-relief pull tabs, so a pre-made loom lifts out with the card. The card is field swappable by a qualified technician, which keeps a channel-count change from becoming a chassis change.
