PreSonus AVB-D16 AVB to Dante Bridge
The AVB-D16 solves the problem of a StudioLive Series III AVB rig that has to live alongside Dante gear. It sends and receives up to sixteen channels in each direction between the two networks, and asynchronous sample-rate conversion inside keeps the two clock domains isolated so neither network's timing disturbs the other.
Because it is a node on the network rather than an option card in one mixer, any AVB device on the system can reach it, so multiple consoles can route to and from the same Dante network through one bridge. It presents itself as a plain 16x16 device to both sides, whether you are looking at it from Dante Controller or from Universal Control and a StudioLive Series III touchscreen. If a system needs more than sixteen channels, additional AVB-D16 bridges add sixteen more each.
