Panasonic HC-X2100 4K Camcorder with 24x Zoom and 3G-SDI

The HC-X2100 is the light end of Panasonic's 4K handheld range: a 1/2.5-inch MOS sensor of 8.57 million total pixels, 8.29 million effective in video, behind a 24x powered optical zoom of F1.8 to F4.0 running f=4.12mm to 98.9mm. The body alone is approximately 0.85kg, and about 1.5kg with the handle unit, hood, battery and eyecup fitted.

It records MOV and MP4 in H.264 or HEVC plus AVCHD to SDHC and SDXC cards up to 512GB, at bitrates to 200 Mbps. Both a 3G/1.5G HD-SDI BNC output and an HDMI Type A output are fitted, each 4:2:2 10-bit with timecode. Two XLR inputs on the handle unit take line, mic or 48V phantom sources. Framing uses a 3.5-inch 2.76 million dot touch LCD and a 0.39-inch OLED viewfinder. Power is 7.28V from battery or 9.0V over DC IN.
