Panasonic AG-MC200G Super-Directional Shotgun Microphone
The AG-MC200G is a super-directional shotgun microphone built for camera-top mounting on video cameras, recorders, and field mixers. Its supercardioid electret condenser capsule narrows pickup to the subject in front of the lens, rejecting off-axis crowd and room noise on ENG and event shoots where a boom operator is not practical.
A 160 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and 69 dB signal-to-noise ratio keep dialogue clear and low in hiss, and the mic handles up to 127 dB SPL before overload for loud environments. It runs on standard 48V phantom power over a 3-pin XLR output, so it drops directly into any camera or mixer with phantom-capable XLR inputs.
