Marshall Electronics CV504 Micro POV Camera
The CV504 is a micro POV camera measuring roughly 40 by 44 by 55mm and weighing about a third of a pound, small enough to tuck into a set, a rig, or a tight corner where a full-size camera will not fit. A 2.2-megapixel Sony sensor with a square pixel array feeds a 3G-SDI (BNC) output at 10-bit 4:2:2 in BT.709, and it ships with an interchangeable M12 mount and a 4.0mm lens giving an 85-degree horizontal view. Resolutions run 1080p, 1080i, and 720p at frame rates from 60fps down to 23.98.
A single locking Hirose cable carries the OSD joystick, RS485 control, audio, and 12V power, and the camera can be color-matched and adjusted remotely via the CV-RCP-V2, Marshall's camera control software, or third-party controllers. A micro-USB port allows field firmware updates from a PC. The audio line input does not power a microphone, though it supplies a 1.7V mic bias up to 3mA. The CV504 draws 2.64W typical (6W max) from a 12V supply.
