Marshall Electronics CV355-27X-IP Zoom Block Camera
The CV355-27X-IP is a box-style zoom-block camera built around an 8.5 megapixel sensor and a 27x optical zoom lens that ranges from 5.56mm to 150mm, opening at roughly 60 degrees horizontal for a wide establishing shot and reaching down to about 3.2 degrees for a tight long-throw close-up. A 12x digital zoom extends the reach further. It is made for fixed long-distance work where a PTZ head is not needed: worship spaces, lecture halls, sports venues, and broadcast sets that need a locked-off angle with real telephoto range.
One Ethernet cable carries video, control, and power, with simultaneous 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP outputs so the camera drops into both traditional and networked workflows at once. IP streaming supports H.265, H.264, and MJPEG plus SRT, and a 3.5mm audio input with passthrough embeds stereo audio on the outputs. RS232 handles serial control where PoE networking is not in play.
