Lewitt LCT 640 TS Dual-Output Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone
The LCT 640 TS runs as a conventional five-pattern condenser (omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid, figure-8) or switches to Dual Output mode, where the front and back diaphragms of the capsule are sent out on two separate channels. Record both, and the polar pattern becomes a decision you make at mix time rather than at the session, including in-phase stereo from a single microphone.
The capsule handles 134 dBSPL at 0.5% THD with four pad steps (0, -6, -12, -18 dB) and four low-cut settings down to 40 Hz. Connections are a gold-plated 3-pin XLR for normal use plus a mini 3-pin XLR that feeds the supplied TS adapter cable in dual mode. Shock mount, magnetic pop filter, foam windscreen, TS adapter cable, transport bag, and transport case are included.
