Lewitt RAY Auto-Focus Cardioid Condenser Microphone
RAY is a cardioid large-diaphragm condenser with a distance sensor built into the body. The AURA function measures how far the talker is from the capsule and adapts level and tone continuously, which keeps a podcast guest or a streamer consistent when they lean back, turn their head, or drift off axis. Nobody has to ride a fader for them.
Underneath the sensor it is a straightforward studio microphone: 8 dB(A) self noise, 131 dBSPL of headroom, 22.6 mV/Pa sensitivity, and a gold-plated 3-pin XLR output, so it works on any interface or mixer with phantom power. Shock mount, magnetic pop filter, foam windscreen, and transport bag are in the box.
