Kinefinity Movcam KineKIT-Edge

The KineKIT-Edge is the Movcam-built support system for the MAVO Edge, assembled as one package rather than as a shopping list of baseplate, handgrip and rod hardware. The base carries UPS power contacts, so the camera runs from two NP-F550 batteries on a UPS base and a dead cell can be swapped without powering the camera down - the difference between a battery change and a reboot in the middle of a take.

It takes the camera onto a tripod, a gimbal or a shoulder, and works at high and low angles. Rod support is 15mm, with an optional baseplate adapter converting the kit to 19mm studio rods; the top plate carries a wireless follow focus motor on 15mm rods for cine lens control. Kinefinity lists it for the MAVO Edge 8K and Edge 6K and the mark2 LF and mark2 S35.
