Kinefinity Movcam UPS Baseplate

Losing the camera on a battery change costs a reboot, a re-slate, and whatever was in the buffer. The Movcam UPS Baseplate solves that at the bottom of the rig: two NP-F550 type cells sit in the plate as an uninterruptible supply, holding the camera up for the seconds it takes to pull a V-lock or BP-U brick and seat the next one.

It mounts under a Kinefinity camera as part of the Movcam KineKIT rigging line, so the hot-swap capability comes without a separate box or a loose cable run across the cage. For studio and multi-camera work where a reboot is visible on air, it is the difference between a battery change and an outage.
