FieldCast 3G SFP Optical Transceiver

The FieldCast 3G SFP is a bidirectional 1310 nm single mode video SFP+ module that transmits and receives 3G-SDI over a single fiber strand. It is MSA compliant, so it drops into a wide range of third-party optical video equipment as well as FieldCast's own converters.

FieldCast runs the module through the pathological pattern test, the worst-case SDI bit sequence, and it passes: that is the difference between an SFP that works on a bench and one that holds a picture up in a broadcast chain. The optical interface is LC.
