Decimator 12G-CrossHDMI/SDI 4K Cross Converter
The 12G-CROSS moves 4K video across the HDMI and 12G-SDI worlds in either direction. Either output can be fed from the HDMI input, the SDI input, or the onboard 4K scaling engine, so it works as a straight cross converter or as a scaler and frame rate converter in one small box. The scaling engine reads either input, handles horizontal and vertical flipping, and can lock to the SDI, HDMI, or genlock reference for clean switching in a live rig.
Connections cover a lot of ground: one HDMI input up to 4K, a 12G-SDI input with two active loop-through copies, one HDMI output, two SDI outputs, and a dedicated SDI genlock input. The scaling engine converts between 57 output formats and accepts 294 VESA formats on the HDMI side, and audio pairs in the outputs can be rearranged as needed. An LCD and button system handles setup without a computer, and it runs on +5V to +32V DC through a locking connector.
