Decimator MD-CROSS v2HDMI/SDI Cross Converter

The MD-CROSS v2 converts in both directions between HDMI and (3G/HD/SD)-SDI, with scaling and frame rate conversion built in. It uses the same proven cross converter found in Decimator's larger MD-DUCC, so either the HDMI or the SDI input can be scaled and frame rate converted to the standard you need, through 14 selectable conversion modes and up to 26 output formats reaching 1080p60. It handles 3G level A and B on both the input and output.

The unit takes one 3G-SDI and one HDMI input, and delivers one HDMI output plus three (3G/HD/SD)-SDI outputs, one of which is an active loop-through. An onboard test pattern generator offers 26 output formats and 54 test patterns alongside an audio test tone generator, and the scaler adds horizontal and vertical image flipping. Overlays of graticules, UMD, and in-picture audio meters are available, and an LCD and button system handles all setup without a computer.
