Crestron Ultimate ICS8-AW 8 in. All Weather In-Ceiling Subwoofer

The ICS8-AW adds bass to a distributed audio or home theatre system without a box on the floor. An 8 in. carbon fibre woofer in a fibre reinforced polypropylene baffle covers 45 Hz to 150 Hz at 3 dB, with a custom second-order low-pass filter fixed at 150 Hz so it hands over cleanly to the full-range speakers on the same run.

It is 8 ohms nominal at 86 dB sensitivity, rated 200 W program and 400 W peak, and takes a detachable 2-pin terminal block up to 12 AWG. Installation uses the same toolless bayonet system and 8.75 in. cutout as the IC series, so it drops into a ceiling grid alongside them, and the IP66 rating lets it go into wet rooms and covered outdoor spaces.
