Crestron Ultimate IWS82-AW In-Wall Dual 8 in. Subwoofer

The IWS82-AW puts real subwoofer output inside the wall. An 8 in. aluminium active woofer works against an 8 in. aluminium passive radiator in the same brushed and anodised aluminium baffle, holding 35 Hz to 175 Hz at 3 dB and reaching 30 Hz at 10 dB. It handles 200 W program and 400 W peak at 8 ohms nominal and 86 dB sensitivity.

The cabinet is tall rather than wide at 28.93 in. by 13.22 in. and only 3.74 in. deep, so it fits between studs. Mounting is an in-wall dog ear system into a 12.51 in. by 28.22 in. cutout, the grille is a paintable magnetic steel bezel, and the input is a detachable 2-pin terminal block. It is IP66 rated for water, which puts it in scope for bathrooms and covered outdoor walls.
